DripMate does not collect, process, transmit, or store any sensitive protected health information (PHI), patient names, identification numbers, medical record identifiers, diagnosis, location, or biometric health history.
All calculated drug rates, bed labels, clinical scores, and shift timers reside strictly within your device's isolated local memory sandbox (Drift/SQLite). The application executes 100% of its clinical functions completely offline without requiring network connectivity.
1. Overview & Data Controller
DripMate ("the Application") is an auxiliary clinical calculator and pharmacological reference tool developed by the DripMate Team for healthcare professionals, physicians, registered nurses, and paramedics. Protecting personal data and upholding patient confidentiality is the founding principle of our software architecture. This policy is established pursuant to the Google Play Health Apps Policy, European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and international medical data protection frameworks.
2. Data We Do Not Collect (Patient Confidentiality)
The Application explicitly refuses to collect, upload, or transmit any of the following data categories:
- Patient Full Name, Social Security Number, National ID, Date of Birth, or Hospital Record Numbers.
- Clinical Diagnoses, Laboratory Test Panels, ECG telemetry data, or Medical Imaging files.
- GPS Coordinates or precise device location telemetry.
- Device Contacts, Camera, Photo Gallery, or Microphone audio streams.
Bed references entered into the Shift Board (e.g., "Bed 2" or "Room 4") are temporary operational tokens stored exclusively within your device's local database and are immediately purged upon clearing the bed or uninstalling the app.
3. Device Permissions & Clinical Rationale
DripMate requests only the minimal operating system permissions strictly required for essential clinical functions:
Used locally to sound an exact audio and vibration alert when an active IV infusion bag reaches its scheduled completion time (ETA) or at the 15-minute vital check milestone during blood transfusions.
Synchronizes tactile vibrations with the drip metronome cadence to assist staff in calibrating roller clamps under low-light or noisy hospital environments.
Prevents the device display from abruptly sleeping while actively utilizing the metronome or timing emergency resuscitations.
4. In-App Subscriptions & Payments
DripMate Pro subscriptions are processed exclusively through Google Play Store (Google LLC) and Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) official in-app billing engines. DripMate never stores, views, or handles your credit card or financial banking information. Subscription entitlements are verified cryptographically through respective platform APIs.
5. Local Storage Security & App Sandboxing
Your customized protocol templates and shift notes are safeguarded by Android and iOS native operating system application sandboxes (Drift/SQLite). No external application installed on your device can access or extract DripMate's private clinical database.
6. Third-Party Advertisers & Analytics Trackers
DripMate contains ZERO third-party advertising SDKs, behavioral tracking pixels, or commercial data broker libraries. We firmly maintain that medical software must remain clean, distraction-free, and dedicated solely to patient safety.
7. Data Subject Rights & Deletion Requests
